THE stories part 1

The words in Job 5:9-10 explains just a tid-bit of what God is! This passage reads, "He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted. He provides rain for the earth; He send water on the countryside."

By Gods grace I got to experience a few of these countless miracles in the past few months while raising money for Kenya. Granted, God most likely performed many more miracles during this time theres no doubt about that, but I know that its my mistake for looking past his very simple yet wonderful miracles. However, the stories I am so excited to tell you about scream "MY GOD IS GOOD!"

Story #1
About 2 months ago, when support letters were recently sent out, many were coming back and it was a beautiful thing. My mom would text me about every other day and tell me that they were generously arriving in packs! Everything was going great! However, one day my mom called me nervously, and said that she just looked up flights to Kenya. She said that they were looking very pricey, especially compared to the little amount of support we have raised thus far. This is a difficult situation you see, because prices are expensive and they can only go up, and in our case we didn't have enough money yet to book flights for my sister and I just then so they were going to go up until we had enough money. At the time, it seemed like a never ending cycle. I got very nervous, frustrated, and I became the epitome of a worry wart. But, this only lasted abouuuuttt 16 hours.--Okay this is the good part!--the NEXT day my grandpa calls me and tells me a story about how he got this letter in the mail asking if he was Frank McConville...which he is..and the letter stated that if he filled out a paper claiming that he is Frank McConville then $2,000 would be mailed to his address. He then proceeded to tell me that all of that money would be going straight to the Africa fund!!! A full plane ticket and then some was paid for in ONE phone call. My grandpa still is trying to figure out exactly where this stored up money came from. It is so silly! Everytime I go to visit him, he tries to remember, throws out all of these dates of when he might've saved up money, but he just can't pin point it!What a mystery right?!...let's go back to the verse in Job, ""He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed". Amen and Amen! Please please please don't lose me here: This story is no coincidence.God is sovereign meaning, He has power over everything, everyone, and anything that happens. The Bible proclaims this power. He is a living God that was using my struggle to proclaim who He is. THAT is why this story is so amazing!!
Side note: Both of our flights are booked for Kenya and there is just a small portion of support left to be raised.

I decided to do a part one and part two of the stories I want to share because this one was very lengthy and so is the next one. I didn't think any readers would think twice about reading a blog that was 3,000,000,000 words long...honestly, I wouldn't, especially on summer vacation! But the next story is just as great, and I am so very excited to write it, re-live it, and share it with you =)

Bye friends!
